Projects/Small Project Grants
Western Dairy small project grants are designed primarily as a support mechanism to farmers and farmer groups, who wish to undertake RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT OR EXTENSION in response to either local or regional dairy issues.
Whilst preference will at all times be given to applications submitted by farmers or farmer groups, small project grants can also be made to members of the dairy science community and other dairy industry stakeholders whose projects can be demonstrated to fit the criteria and where funds are expected to remain un-allocated to farmer applicants.
Western Dairy is one of eight Regional Development Programs under the auspice of Dairy Australia and is the local organisation responsible for identifying priorities for research and training needs in the WA dairy industry.
